MDX DANCE PROGRAMME OFFERINGS

Our Dance BA allows you to develop your
professional skills by reflecting on
creative practices & creating your own
unique performances. You'll also have
access to professional training facilities
including fully-equipped dance studios &
a specialist dance theatre.
This is a three year degree. It can also be
studied part-time.

ISTD Diploma in Dance Pedagogy (DDP) is taken
alongside your level 6 (final year)
BA Dance studies.
This course offers you the opportunity to gain
an internationally recognised teaching
qualification as you graduate with your
BA degree.
The DDP sits within your level 6 modules,
supplemented by workshops & seminars, with
study continuing through to the Summer
semester of your final year.
The DDP is delivered, mentored and assessed by
MDX dance faculty for the ISTD.
This is an optional addition to your studies
enriching your experience of pedagogy in dance.

The MA programme is a unique distance
education programme, centred around the
development of your existing
professional arts practice
This is a unique master's level degree focused on
your own professional practice.
Designed for emerging & established arts-based
practitioners, teachers, writers, curators,
choreographers & performers.
The MA is taught by distance learning, delivered
entirely online so accessible internationally.
The course has established links with the
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD),
the Association for Somatic Movement
& Dance Therapies UK & Eire.
