Sophie Ballard has been dancing from the age of three. She has trained in many different styles including ballet, tap, contemporary, ballroom, latin, hip-hop, jazz, disco freestyle and improvisation. She has also had training and experience in teaching safe dance practice, specialising in teaching special educational needs (SEN) students. Beginning her journey in her hometown, Clacton-On-Sea at the age of three, participating in baby ballet classes then moving onto disco freestyle. During Sophie's time at Middlesex University, she has drastically improved her technique, and gained knowledge and experience in teaching. She was able to put the skills and knowledge into practice when completing her placement at Saracens, working with SEN children, which has given her a whole new look at her career as a dancer and dance educator.
